Tour De Cure Sign Up

This Saturday May 21st Tour de Cure will be set up inside of Greenstreet cycles from 10 am to 2 pm.  If you sign up during this event your entry fee will be $5 with a special Greenstreet Promo. Along with a reduced registration fee you will receive free socks and a free Tour de Cure water bottle courtesy of Greenstreet and ADA. Greenstreet will also off 50% off rentals, 25% off accessories 5% off tune ups and 10% off any bikes sold the day of the sign up event!

Tour de Cure is a ride organized by American Diabetes Association to raise money to help find a cure for diabetes and support their mission. Each Tour de Cure rider has a fundraising minimum of $200. These funds are used to support the mission of preventing, curing diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

The ride will kick off at 8 am June 18th at Stintion park in Aksarben. There are Three available routes: 10 miles, 25 mile and 50 miles. Grab a friend and create a team or join a team today and make the pledge to become a Red Rider!

Why: To prevent, treat, and cure all forms of Diabetes. 11% of Nebraskans have diabetes, and more are diagnosed each year. With the money raised, we fund 4th grade diet/exercise education, type 2 diabetes educational programs, patient and provider education, type 1 diabetes educational kits, free advocacy for diabetics suffering from discrimination, political advocacy, wellness at work programs, and research for pre-diabetes, type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, and gestational diabetes.
About: By raising $200, riders receive breakfast, snacks, bike inspections, beverages, lunch, access to the beer garden, beer/wine, incentives, drawings, entertainment, a band, massages, and support.
