Workload Commitment

Greenstreet Cycles is open from 11am-7pm, Monday through Sunday, during our busy season. All employees are required to be available to work retail hours and should expect to fulfill a commitment of working one weekend day per week. We look for self sufficient salespeople and mechanics that are able to communicate and collaborate with everyone on our team. Employees should be prepared to lead in or participate in clinics, group rides and other shop events.

Greenstreet employees will work an average of 40 hours per week in a given year. We are a seasonal business and as such the workload and compensation opportunities are highest from March to September. In the off-season we run service specials, indoor cycling sessions and clinics to keep our customer engaged. The work and schedule load, while still full-time, is lighter.

Bike Build Introductory Period

All new employees must build 10 bikes and ensure they are accurately retailed and placed on greenstreetcycles.com. Based on these builds, employees with limited mechanical experience will need to build additional bikes until their skills are sufficient enough to be able to work without supervision. All bike builds will be paid at $10 per completed bike.

Compensation Package

Greenstreet employees receive performance based compensation based upon the gross profit generated from service and retail productivity. Every employee has the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings through profit sharing. All employees receive 15% of all profit generated from service and retail activities. In 2019, this translated to between $5 and $6.50 per hour for full time employees. Our base pay is $9/hour during the first 90 days and increases to $10/hour after the 90 day probationary period.
