Your Health & Safety Is Our Priority

At Greenstreet Cycles we have been vigilant about keeping up with recent developments concerning COVID-19. The safety of our employees and customers is our first priority. We will continue to follow policies and procedures set by local and federal government as well as the CDC. In addition, we have implemented heightened safety, sanitation and disinfecting protocols.

We have decided to remain open because our products and services are important tools for our community to continue active transportation and healthy activity. Cycling is fun! It’s a great way to exercise, get fresh air, and spend time with your immediate family while also practicing social distancing. With close to 100 miles of paved trails and around 50 miles of singletrack trails there are plenty of places to get outside and ride safely in the greater Omaha and Papillion areas.

Your support of small businesses like ours is crucial during this uncertain time. One thing you can do to minimize time out of your home is to check our website before visiting. If there is a specific item you are looking for, please call ahead to determine whether it’s in our Omaha or Papillion Shop.

If you aren’t comfortable coming into the store you will find all of our bikes and some other products available to browse online at greenstreetcycles.com. Please also feel free to call the store if you have any questions - we would be more than happy to answer them over the phone. If you are interested in supporting us but would prefer to come in at a later date, we offer gift certificates online. We will gladly deliver your phone or online bike purchase free of charge in the Greater Omaha Area.

Greenstreet Safety & Sanitation Policy

We take the safety of our employees and riders seriously. As such, we take the following steps and require our customers to join us by taking the actions shown below.

Customer Required Precautions - help ensure you & our other customers are safe.

  • Customers must use hand sanitizer as they come into the shop. Customers must wash their hands prior to touching any merchandise.
  • Customers are required to wear gloves on test rides. Greenstreet employees will wipe down touch points on all bikes after each test ride.
  • Please insert your own credit or debit card. Our team will key in the rest.

Employee Safety Measures - steps to keep our community safe.

  • All employees take their temperature when they arrive at work. We document this prior to clocking in. Anyone with a temperature over 100* stays home for 2 weeks after the temp returns to normal or until they receive a negative C-19 test result. 
  • Our team wears gloves at all times, changing them every two hours.
  • All team members wash their hands every time they change their gloves.
  • We use disinfectant wipes to clean checkout surfaces, entrance handles and high touch areas once per hour.
  • We wipe down any bike that comes in for service as soon as it comes in and before returning the bike to the customer.
  • Prior to a Retul Fit or Sizing, both the Fitter and the Rider must record their temperature and wash their hands for 20 seconds. If the rider has an elevated temperature, our team member will reschedule your appointment in 14+ days.
  • We disinfect helmets by spraying them with 70% alcohol after each use.
  • We maintain documentation of employee temperatures, disinfecting wipe downs and glove changes.
